AV CHAIR
the folding chair that doesn't fold
Inspired by the familiar silhouette of a standard folding chair, the AV Chair reimagines utility through abstraction. Intersecting wooden planes replace hinges and mechanisms, transforming a functional object into a sculptural form.
Both grounded and unexpected, the chair balances structure, restraint, and intention — designed to be used, but equally considered as an object
in space.

Photographed positioned just outside a window of an unfinished retail space, the chair quietly observes a room of conventional folding chairs — a subtle nod to its origin, and its refusal to conform.
